We are looking for a Working Student Research Support, Global Health Initiative. This is a part-time position (10-12 hours per week).

With our Global Health Initiative (GHI) we focus particularly on bringing new innovative solutions to low income countries by partnering up with LMIC governments, foundations, NGOs and key private sector partners.

This role offers a great opportunity to support exciting projects at the intersection of technological innovation and global health, with leading NGOs, industry partners, foundations and governmental stakeholders. In this role you will support and contribute to the successful implementation of the Global Health Initiative’s existing projects in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, and will work closely with our team on the development of new projects. A major part of this role is to work closely with our GHI Project Manager to help develop and implement projects. 


  • Conduct research, including literature reviews and market research, to produce reports and briefings that inform the development of new projects
  • Prepare presentations and proposals for external partnerships
  • Work closely with our Clinical Evaluation and Research teams to support the design pilots/studies to evaluate Ada’s impact in the Global South
  • Contribute to the dissemination of our growing evidence base 
  • Support project management of existing projects


  • Enrolled student in a field related to biological sciences, public health or economics
  • Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Global Health
  • Ideally experience in contributing to academic research studies, proposals and/or publications
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods and data collection
  • Ideally first experience in developing presentations and proposals for external partnerships
  • You are goal-oriented and able to work together across varied and multi-cultural teams in an objective and efficient manner, communicating deliverables and processes clearly. 
  • Fluent in English
  • The ability to work 10 - 12 hours per week
