IT & Software

About vysr

vysr is an early-stage B2B startup building performance intelligence software for asset-heavy industries such as pharma, chemicals, and manufacturing. Our platform turns raw operational data into standardized, benchmarked insights — and connects those insights to concrete improvement initiatives and OKRs, so leadership teams can see not just how they're performing, but what to do about it and what it's worth.

We're already working with global players like Bayer, running proof-of-concept projects on real use cases such as maintenance cost optimization and unplanned downtime reduction. We've built the product, closed our first client, and are now building the engine that will take vysr to the next stage of growth. That's where you come in.

About the Role

As our Founder's Associate, you'll work directly with the founder across go-to-market, client outreach, and operations — getting a front-row seat to how a B2B SaaS startup goes from first client to repeatable growth. This isn't a coffee-fetching internship: you'll own real tasks that directly move the needle, and you'll see the impact of your work within days, not months.

What You'll Do

Pipeline & Outreach

  1. Build and maintain lead lists based on our ideal customer profile
  2. Draft and send first-touch outreach (email, LinkedIn) using our messaging
  3. Schedule discovery calls and keep our CRM up to date

Research & Preparation

  1. Research prospects and industries ahead of calls and meetings
  2. Support competitive and market research to sharpen our positioning
  3. Help draft one-pagers, follow-up emails, and case studies

Client & Operations Support

  1. Support onboarding logistics for new clients (scheduling, documentation, check-ins)
  2. Organize customer feedback and feature requests for the product team
  3. Track key metrics (response rates, call-to-close ratios) to help us learn faster

What You Bring

  1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (Business, Economics, Engineering, or similar)
  2. Genuine interest in startups, B2B sales, and go-to-market strategy
  3. Structured, self-driven way of working — comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus
  5. Confident with everyday tools (spreadsheets, CRM systems, LinkedIn); no coding required
  6. Bonus: prior internship, working-student role, or personal project in sales, consulting, or a startup

Why vysr

  1. Real ownership from day one — your work reaches real prospects and real clients, not a training exercise
  2. Direct access to the founder and the full company — no layers, no bureaucracy, fast decisions
  3. Flexible hours that fit around your studies — we care about output, not hours logged at a desk
  4. A front-row seat to building a company: product, sales, and strategy all in one role
  5. Room to grow — as we grow, so does your scope of responsibility
  6. A fair working-student compensation, agreed individually based on your availability
