As a part of the 3DEXCITE Technology R&D team you will develop and advance state-of-the art rendering solutions used by Dassault Systèmes. Responsibilities include the Stellar Precise rendering framework, with a focus on its raytracing based global illumination backend that is used for interactive or offline rendering on single machines or in clustered environments. Other focus areas are on Web-based real-time rendering technologies as well as VR applications.

What will your role be?

  • Supporting the development of our rendering technologies (implementing, debugging and optimizing rendering, distribution or cloud-deployment algorithms)

  • Learning how to employ processes, methods and tools in a professional environment

  • Working closely with senior developers, enhancing your technical and software engineering skills

 

The challenges ahead

  • Familiarize yourself with the 3DEXCITE as well as the Dassault Systemes organization
  • Supporting the development and get to know all systems and processes
  • Get inside into the R&D organization and learn from developers and managers

 

Your key success factors

  • Studies in Computer Science or a comparable topic

  • Good skills in C++ or WebGL/Javascript

  • Experience and technical know-how with either of the following categories

    • Global illumination rendering

    • Physically based materials for rendering (BxDFs, MDL, RenderMan like shading languages)

    • Distributed computing

    • Advanced Realtime Rendering

  • Self-reliant, solution-oriented way of working with outstanding team skills

  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical abilities

  • Fluent in English
