Working Student – Group Service Desk (m/f/d) on site

Working Hours: 16–20 hours per week

Your Responsibilities

As a Working Student in our Group Service Desk, you will support our central IT team in ensuring smooth IT operations for approximately 800 internal employees. You will act as a first point of contact for technical issues and gain hands-on experience in IT support within a professional corporate environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Receiving, categorizing, and processing IT support requests via ticketing system, email, or phone
2. Providing first-level support for hardware and software issues (Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, printers, VPN, network access, etc.)
3. Preparing, configuring, and issuing laptops and peripheral devices
4. Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding (account setup, access rights management, hardware provisioning)
5. Documenting incidents and maintaining the IT knowledge base
6. Escalating complex issues to second-level support or specialized teams
7. Assisting with IT projects, rollouts, and system updates

Your Profile

1. Currently enrolled student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
2. First practical experience in IT support or strong technical affinity
3. Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365
4. Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
5. Strong service mindset and good communication skills
6. Very good German and good English skills
