International Supply Chain Intern

We were established in 2006 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd., one of the world’s leading manufacturers of wind turbines and providers of comprehensive wind energy solutions. We focus on the research and development of wind turprovidersssd the expansion of our presence in the European market. Our core business activities include technical consulting, technical services, import and export operations, the development of wind turbines, and the trade of wind turbine components. We are currently seeking an intern for a paid internship with a duration of 3~6 months at Bochum Office in the fields of Supply Chain Center.

Your Tasks:

1. Assist in overseas component market research, overseas supplier information gathering and preliminary screening; compile supplier profiles and update the international supplier shortlist and supplier database;
2. Collect overseas material price information, benchmarking data and cost-related data; maintain summaries and spreadsheets to support cost analysis and price evaluation;
3. Support documentation preparation for the overseas supplier development process, including supplier onboarding, audit and sample-test materials, and follow up on archiving;
4. Maintain statistics on order allocation and supplier performance, issue regular data reports and help optimise the domestic/overseas supplier mix;
5. Coordinate with R&D and Quality teams to collect incoming-material quality data, maintain the quality issue log and follow up on information sharing to support quality improvement;
6. Track overseas suppliers' delivery information, keep sample-development and volume-supply milestones updated, compile delivery risk information and support early warning;
7. Collect public information on overseas trade, logistics and tariffs, and prepare briefings to help identify external supply chain risks;
8. Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the mentor, comply with company HSE rules, learn the risk Your Profiles of the role and report hazards promptly.
