About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented working student to support our bioprocessing team in laboratory operations. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional biotech setting and is ideal for students pursuing degrees in biotechnology, bioengineering, biochemistry, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare media, buffers, and reagents for experiments
2. Support routine lab maintenance, including cleaning and sterilization of equipment
3. Work with bioreactors and other downstream process techniques
4. Conduct basic analytical procedures (e.g., spectrophotometry, HPLC)
5. Collaborate with scientists and engineers on active research and development projects
6. Maintain accurate and well-organized laboratory records and documentation
7. Follow safety and quality protocols in all lab activities

Qualifications:

1. Enrolled in a relevant scientific or engineering degree program (e.g., biotechnology, biochemistry, bioengineering)
2. Basic understanding of microbiology, biochemistry, or bioprocessing
3. Prior hands-on lab experience (academic or industry) is a plus
4. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
5. Fluency in English communication is required. German is a plus, but not mandatory.
6. Enthusiastic about laboratory work and contributing to an industry-focused scientific environment
