The Hertie School is looking for a

Student Assistant (f/m/div) – International Office & Student Life

on a part-time (20 hours/week) basis.

The contract shall commence as of 01 August 2021 and is subject to a two-year time limit.

 

Your tasks:

  • Providing first level student support via phone, email and in person with topics such as city registration, health insurance, housing, residence permit, etc.
  • Creation of informational materials for students 
  • Maintenance of our learning platform Moodle and internal wiki entries
  • Assistance in the organization of student events

 

Your profile:

  • Enrolled at a German University for the duration of the contract (at least two years)
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent oral and written skills in German and English
  • Hands-on approach and pro-active service orientation
  • Reliable and an independent working style
  • Accurate & thorough personality traits
  • Strong intercultural competences
  • Open minded and strong communication skills

The hourly wage depends on your qualifications. We offer an hourly rate of EUR 12,00 for undergraduates and EUR 13,00 for students holding a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree. Severely disabled applicants are given preferential consideration in the event of equal qualification.
