xbird is a small (15 employees) tech company aiming to simplify medical therapy. We use machine learning algorithms to provide personalized assistance to people with chronic conditions. Our ultimate goal is to enable better treatment outcomes.
We are looking for a highly driven and ambitious self-starter who wants to be part of our journey to build a market leading company that has a positive impact on the world. With your help, we want to build a world class team of engineers, entrepreneurs and medical staff. Your main job will be to proactively identify and contact talent and manage the day-to-day application process. At the same time, you will work with our COO to continuously improve our recruitment process, employer branding and related topics.
We offer you to get in on the ground level of one of Berlin's most exciting companies with a management team that has already built and successfully exited numerous ventures. We have flat hierarchies and a friendly, no-bullshit atmosphere.
For the above, we are looking for a working student (20 h/week) or, alternatively, an intern/trainee (5-6 months duration). We offer opportunities for full-time employment after your studies / the internship.
YOUR TASKS
- Own the recruiting process at xbird. You source, screen, manage and place the best-matched candidates at xbird.
- Actively contact potential candidates by directly approaching them on various professional platforms.
- Ensure the best candidate experience for all applicants that enter our recruiting funnel, from first contact to first day at the company.
- Actively push our employer branding and university relations to increase our reach and grow our talent network.
- Have a thorough understanding of the business targets and therefore relevant talent needs, making sure we get the right talents for the right position.
- Support the management team in building a great company to work for.
REQUIREMENTS
- You are a proactive, results-driven person that wants to make a difference.
- You are self-organized and feel comfortable taking on responsibilities for tasks and projects.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German skills are a plus.
- You are a people person and excellent at relationship building.
- Ideally, you already have some experience in recruiting people for a company or for a project. However, we do not require this experience and feel comfortable guiding and coaching you if you are new to recruiting.
- You want to work in a dynamic, fast-paced startup.
- Ideally, you can start in April or May.
