We are looking for a working student for 10-20h/ week to support our operations and our business development team.
About this role
As a working student at Rasa you gain insights in every area of an AI company, focussing on operations and business development. Your overall goal is to support the team to move faster towards our mission of empowering makers to build AI assistants that everyone can use.
You will work closely with our Head of Operations and Head of Business Development and support them in running the business. This role is very diverse and thus requires you to understand new topics quickly. This could be anything from working with one of our major customers, qualifying leads, organizing events for our world-wide open source community or finding candidates for open job positions. Over time, you will take over your own responsibilities.
Self-improvement and feedback is very important at Rasa. You will work closely with your team lead on setting professional and personal development goals. Regular feedback sessions make sure you achieve these goals and learn quickly.
You’re a doer and self-starter. You don’t need much explanation to get things done while working under uncertainty. You feel comfortable doing things that you haven’t done before.
You are a student and you are going to stay in university for at least one more year.
You have relevant working experience and know that common sense is often more important to solve a task than some specific skills that university courses teach you.
You are well organized and you have good research skills.
You can work in an international and diverse team.
You have great communication skills in German and English.

Things you will do
We’re a startup, so you’ll have to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever is required to support our mission. However, you can definitely expect to:
Supervising the hiring process: you are responsible for maintaining and marketing our jobs adds and you are the first point of contact for all incoming applications and lead the applicants through the different stages of the recruiting process.
Helping with office management and operations tasks: there are lots of small tasks that are needed to keep the company running, that could be anything from buying new office equipment to writing letters.
Researching markets and companies: you help us decide which markets and potential customers we should approach next by finding all relevant information.
Customer Relationship Management: you help us to stay in contact with all our leads and you make sure that our customer relationship management tool is always up-to-date and that we have all the data to successfully close deals and communicate with customers.
