Representing a worldwide acting producer of game consoles, we are looking for interpreters who can translate Japanese into British English with excellent knowledge of the British English for a part-time position within the software location team based in Frankfurt. The company started to produce game consoles in the 1970's and is one of the leading companies in this field. In 2011 the company had more than 4,500 employees and would like to welcome you to be part of its great success.

Needed languages: Japanese, British English

Members of the team are primarily responsible for the translation, editing and localisation of software titles (as well as associated manuals and other documentation) into British English. Teamwork and flexibility are essential.

Candidates should have a degree in English or translation (or previous experience in a similar role), thorough knowledge of British English style and grammar, and general computer proficiency (including familiarity with Microsoft Office). Personal interest in video games is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of German is not required, as office business is conducted entirely in English.
