INTERNSHIP OFFER: ONLINE BUSINESS INTERN, 6 MONTHS (Central London, UK)

Interested in working at a fast-paced technology start-up? How about assisting the Project Manager with various tasks such as conceptualizing the development roadmap, evaluating new technologies, looking at analytics and implementing your recommendations? WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Conceptualize and implement the online business development roadmap
• Conceptualize and manage the implementation of new features
• Develop and test ideas for improving Mendeley’s web page
• Evaluate the usefulness of new technologies
• Support business project management
• Be involved in our day-to-day operations
• Shape Mendeley with your own ideas, enthusiasm and personality

WHAT YOU SHOULD IDEALLY BRING
• Study business, information systems, information/library sciences, or a related field in your final year
• Initial knowledge of web technologies and be technically minded
• Project experience in the Internet, “Web 2.0”, social software/networks, and/or academic databases
• Interest in the academic area
• 6 months of your time
